Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 16, 2026
BatchCut ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use BatchCut on your iPhone or iPad.
Your Photos Stay on Your Device
All background removal and image processing happens entirely on your device using on-device AI. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, never stored in the cloud, and never shared with us or any third party. We have zero access to your images.
Data We Do Not Collect
- No account or registration required
- No name, email address, or contact information
- No location data
- No photos, videos, or any user-generated content
Advertising (Free Tier)
The free tier of BatchCut displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect the following to serve relevant ads:
- Device advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you grant tracking permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt
- Approximate location (country/region level) based on IP address
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
You can opt out of personalized ads at any time in your iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. BatchCut Pro removes all ads entirely.
For more information on how Google uses this data, see Google's Privacy Policy.
In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs all transaction data.
Analytics & Crash Reporting
We do not use any third-party analytics or crash reporting services beyond what Apple provides through the App Store (aggregate, anonymized diagnostics).
Children's Privacy
BatchCut is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
